About the Author

From the time Deborah was old enough to read, she's been devouring books. So much so that her hunger for the written word led her to reading her mother's books...which were all romances and Gothic intrigue. She soon became hooked on the romances and before long was writing her own, though her only experience was from her reading! Determined though she was to grow up and become an author, her sense of adventure led to a career in the United States Air Force. Aside from serving her country, she figured it couldn't hurt to gain some real-life experience to help with her writing. She got more than she bargained for but that's life and its lessons were pretty intense! Although most of Deborah's books are more focused in the paranormal genre, she wanted to write a straight-up romance. One with lots of conflict for her character to contend with and overcome. Relationships are often complicated and many times its the assumptions that cause problems! Tangled Up Hearts came to her in a flash of inspiration and the initial story was written in about three weeks. Years and years later, she's finally put it "out there" for others to enjoy!! She hopes her readers enjoy her stories as much as she enjoys writing them!
