Jonatha Wright has told stories professionally for two decades, both solo and in tandem with her husband, Harold Wright. They specialize in Japanese, Ohio and Ohio Appalachian stories of all genre. Ohio is their home and Japan their home away from home. Jonatha is active in OOPS! (The Ohio Order for the Preservation of Storytelling, Miami Valley Storytellers, The Appalachian Highlands Storytelling Coalition, Kentucky Storytelling Association, and the National Storytelling Network. She is a teller with the Yellow Springs Tale Spinners troupe. Jonatha served as ambassador for the Yellow Springs Story Box under Dr. Kevin Cordi. Jonatha and Harold have taught storytelling courses at Antioch College, Antioch Midwest and other Ohio colleges, in addition to numerous workshops and seminars on a wide variety of storytelling topics in numerous venues. In 2007 the Wrights published a collection of their favorite Japanese stories, "Spine Tingling Tales of Old Japan." The have several CD's and DVD's of their performances.
