Ben Tagoe is originally from Perth, Scotland and relocated to Yorkshire in 2002 to study Creative Writing at The University of Leeds. He received an Alfred Bradley Bursary from BBC Radio 4 for his radio script Keeping It Up With the Joneses. And has previously written Bittersweet Sunshine for Red Ladder in 2012 and Cold Turkey At Nanas for Perth Theatre in 2012. Ben was one of eight writers selected for the 2011/12 BBC Writers Academy. In 2013, his short film Black Magic, starred Hugh Quarshire and was featured on www.thespace.org as part of Eclipse Theatres 10 x 10 project. His TV credits include Casualty, Doctors and Eastenders.
