"In her debut novella, This is Where We Talk Things Out, Caitlin
Marceau has crafted one of the most horrifying reads of the year. A
fast-paced plot and increasing tension from the first chapter made
the pages fly by, while her gift for making readers care about her
characters in such a brief story raised the stakes all the more.
With relatable scenarios that dug ever deeper into danger, I raced
to the end, too tense to keep going, but impossible to put
down."-Laurel Hightower, author of Crossroads and Below.
"Emotionally claustrophobic and unnerving. Takes dysfunctional
family to a whole new level."-Ali Seay, author of To Offer Her
Pleasure.
"This is Where We Talk Things Out by Caitlin Marceau is a winter
storm knocking on your door, and the chills it has brought are not
ones you can escape. If Misery, "A Rose for Emily", and Mommie
Dearest had a lovechild, here it is. A genuinely upsetting horror
novella that holds nothing back. This page-turner will have you
devouring the book in a day or two, but you won't be able to stop
thinking about it for weeks. Marceau is a dynamite force to keep an
eye on."- Sara Tantlinger, Bram Stoker Award-winning author of The
Devil's Dreamland.
"Marceau is one of the most chilling new voices in horror." - Lindy
Ryan, author of Bless Your Heart.
