About the Author

Linda Bootherstone has spent most of her life exploring the world by motorcycle. She is now based in Port Lincoln, South Australia where she follows her other interests of art and music but also takes trips on her motorcycle whenever possible. She has written two books previously and made several recordings of her own songs. Following the weddings Jacky Griffin continued to travel and work in Australia and New Zealand before returning to England. She subsequently travelled in Africa and then settled in the UK. After a career in social work she is now retired and lives in Hampshire. Unable to travel to the UK overland by motorbike because of the East and West Pakistan secession conflict, Angela Griffin and her husband, Geoff Branston, flew back to the UK, first settling in Hampshire. After training and working as a nurse for some years Angie had three children and is now a proud grandmother. Angie and Geoff have lived in Dorset for the last thirty years.
