The second novel in the Potato Factory Trilogy, this tells of the the story of the unlikely twins born of sperm whale sally, who serviced two men consecutavly, so she had twins. One a large samoan/maori child. The other a weedy white pasty boy. But twins none the less. It is a heart wrenching tale at times, and many a tear wash shed whilst I read it. Though the book is so well written and the characters so amazingly complex and deep, you feel transported to another time and place. I recomended this book to anyone.
