Sheila Loyd Campbell has been creating even before she could write. Before becoming a full-time writer, she worked in behind a drug store soda fountain, for The Department of the Army, The Department of Agriculture, as a day care center director, and as a substitute teacher. The Transformation of Vicki Mason is her eighth book and her second for young adults. Sheila is the mother of two grown daughters. She and her rancher husband Jim live in the mountains of central Colorado. She is an avid reader and loves animals. She is involved in her church and recently began to do family history research. Sheila always has a story going on in her head and enjoys pulling them out.
