Kristie Miller, an author and journalist, is the Washington, D.C., correspondent for the La Salle, Illinois, NewsTribune. Her previous books include Isabella Greenway: An Enterprising Woman and Ruth Hanna McCormick: A Life in Politics. She lives in McLean, Virginia. Robert H. McGinnis, a graduate of Harvard Divinity School, is a member of the Washington, D.C., Bar Association. His work has appeared in Rolling Stone and the Florida Law Review. He lives in Great Falls, Virginia. Blanche Wiesen Cook, author of Eleanor Roosevelt, Vol. 1: 1884-1933 and Eleanor Roosevelt: Volume 2, The Defining Years, 1933-1938, provided the Preface.
