Over 20,000 students have gone through his SomaVeda Integrated Traditional Therapies(R) educational programs. Honored by Royal Thai Government several times, TAT, Receiver of the Friend of Thailand award for Thai Medicine, Bangkok, Aachan and/or Master teacher and FIRST Westerner authorized to share Traditional Thai Medical Massage (Thai Yoga Therapy) in the west. Anthony B. James is recognized as the author of the first book published in the English Language on Traditional Thai Medical Massage (Thai Yoga and Thai Massage) "Nuat Thai, Traditional Thai Medical Massage, Metta Journal Press, Atlanta, GA 1983" Currently, the author is the Director of Education of NAIC and SomaVeda College of Natural Medicine/ The Thai Yoga Center in Brooksville, FL where he develops and oversees full time residential training programs for Indigenous, Traditional, Native American, Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Traditional Thai Massage, Thai Yoga, Ayurveda and Traditional Naturopathic based Holistic Health Practitioner Programs. He has developed five accredited college degrees and four professional practitioner certificate programs at SCNM. Dr. Anthony James also lead International Exchange and Eco-Tourism programs in Thailand and India and has lived and traveled extensively in Asia. His primary focus has been SE Asian Culture, Medical and Martial Arts. Dr. Anthony James is also a Black Belt Martial arts teacher with a varied experience in many different disciplines from American Karate and Jiu-Jitsu, Filipino Kali to Thai Kabri-Kabrong and Muay Thai.
