Kaye Hansen is a self-taught baker who began her food career as a
freelance caterer. In 1988 she and a partner opened the Runcible
Spoon in Nyack, New York, and six years later Kaye took over
Ardsley, New York's, Riviera Bakehouse, which she owns and operates
with her husband, Peter.
Liv Hansen trained as a painter before turning her eye for color
and composition to buttercream and melted chocolate. This is their
first book.
