About the Author

Louise believed she could do anything in life as long as somegone gave her the tools to complete the task. She dicovered her love of writing as a teenager when she realized that putting words to her emotions was a cathartic way to gain the perspective she needed to make sense of her life. It became her lifelong dream to publish a book. However, upon becoming a single parent, her days quickly filled with caring for her four children and working to support them. As her children grew into adulthood, she completed two years of business and journalism courses at a local university while working full time. She also helped care for her grandchildren when deemed necessary. Although her first book has been a long time coming, she never gave up her goal. This anthology chronicles her joys and heartbreaks, the tenderness and betrayal of young love, the gifts of her grandchildren, the hard consequences of sexually-destructive behaviors, rage, and so much more. Louise is thankful for the encouragement and support she has received from family, friends, and co-workers to finally realize her dream.
