Who Moved My Cheese? is an amusing and enlightening story of four characters who live in a maze and look for cheese to nourish them and make them happy. Cheese is a metaphor for what you want to have in life - whether it is a good job, a loving relationship, money or a possession, health or spirital peace of mind. And the maze is where you look for what you want - the organisation you work in, or the family or community you live in. This profound book from bestselling author, Spencer Johnson, will show you how to anticipate change, adapt to change quickly, enjoy change and be ready to change quickly again and again. Discover the secret for yourself and learn how to deal with change, so that you suffer from less stress and enjoy more success in your work and in life. Written for all ages, this story takes less than an hour to read, but its unique insights can last for a lifetime.

Reviews

This is a brief tale of two mice and two humans who live in a maze and one day are faced with change: someone moves their cheese. Reactions vary from quick adjustment to waiting for the situation to change by itself to suit their needs. This story is about adjusting attitudes toward change in life, especially at work. Change occurs whether a person is ready or not, but the author affirms that it can be positive. His principles are to anticipate change, let go of the old, and do what you would do if you were not afraid. Listeners are still left with questions about making his or her own specific personal changes. Capably narrated by Tony Roberts, this audiotape is recommended for larger public library collections.ÄMark Guyer, Stark Cty. Dist. Lib., Canton, OH Copyright 1999 Cahners Business Information.

This would have to be one of the best spiritual books I have read in a long time. It only took me just on one hour to read but have gone back to it numerous times to read passages again. Very easy to undertstand and the message is for everyone. Thoroughly recommend it.

have to be honest and say I was a little disappointed with this book. Having had so much promotion, I thought it would actually offer some valuable insights or something new and different from like books on the market, but it really is the same old same old - something I would expect to receive under my chair at an amway conference or something similar. However, having said that, for people who are in the early stages of their careers this does provide a good amount of material to get you thinking and the paperback is worth the price.
