About the Author

Mr. Lechich has over 26 years of regulatory oversight and hands-on experience in a wide variety of environmental projects including ocean research, coastal construction evaluations, contaminated sediments, environmental health and groundwater remediation. He has retired from government service and is enjoying his sailboat, doing some writing, fishing, hunting and biking, as well as keeping abreast of environmental issues and economic developments (which can have great effect on how the environment is treated, as he discusses in his last book). Alex lives in the NY area and is the sole parent for his twenty year old son.
