Reviews

'A concise text that covers both extremes of the spectrum. This would be a good starting point' - Samantha Faulkner, Midwifery Lecturer, Birmingham City University. 'The chapters follow a logical sequence of the process of motherhood from preconception to postpartum... This makes it a useful reference book for health professionals caring for women at these different stages. Each of the chapters is then further separated into sections for teenagers and then for women of advanced maternal age... case studies are used throughout the book to flesh out points and demonstrate how the recommendations have been put into practice elsewhere. There is also a good range of references at the end of each chapter... This is a good reference book for students and health professionals.' - Bree Cant, Midwife.
