Chip Zdarsky became well-known as the artist of the award-winning
Sex Criminals and the writer of Kaptara, both from Image Comics.
Howard the Duck was his first Marvel series, soon followed by books
including Marvel 2-in-One and Peter Parker- The Spectacular
Spider-Man. Now one of the leading writers in comics, Zdarsky has
wowed readers with his Daredevil run; limited series such as
X-Men/Fantastic Four, Spider-Man- Life Story and Spider-Man-
Spider's Shadow; and creative covers including his "How to Draw"
variants.
The son of industry pioneer Joe Kubert, Adam Kubert has won
numerous comics-industry achievement awards - including an Eisner
Award and a Wizard magazine award. His landmark runs on Wolverine
and Incredible Hulk made him a superstar, leading him to work on
X-Men titles including the Marvel Universe-changing Onslaught saga.
His subsequent efforts for Marvel include revisiting the world of
Logan on Astonishing Spider-Man & Wolverine and the blockbuster
sequel Origin II. Kubert joined the stellar artistic lineup of the
event series Avengers vs. X-Men, and his subsequent work includes
All-New, All-Different Avengers; Peter Parker- The Spectacular
Spider-Man; and Captain America. In 2020, he made a triumphant
return to his signature character for the Dawn of X relaunch of
Wolverine.
Croatian-born artist Goran Parlov's contribution to the
fan-favorite Italian comic series Ken Parker earned him attention
overseas, garnering Parlov assignments on the cult classic Outlaw
Nation, published by DC Comics, and the sci-fi series Terminator 3-
Before the Rise. Parlov joined author Richard K. Morgan on Marvel's
Black Widow- Homecoming, a fast-paced miniseries that returned the
character to her espionage roots. Following his success on
Punisher, Parlov re-teamed with writer Garth Ennis on Punisher
Presents- Barracuda MAX, illustrating a new tale of this
unforgettable killer for hire. He collaborated with award-winning
author Jonathan Maberry to tell the tale of a dystopian future in
which a dangerous pathogen has destroyed human society, turning
everyone it touches into murderous cannibals, in Marvel Universe
vs. the Punisher.
Hired on the strength of his Official Marvel Tryout penciling
submission, Mark Bagley rose to prominence as the artist of 1990s
sleeper hit New Warriors. Following an acclaimed run on Amazing
Spider-Man, he worked with writer Kurt Busiek on Thunderbolts. When
Marvel launched its Ultimate line, Bagley and Brian Michael Bendis
led the way with Ultimate Spider-Man, whose years of success made
the pair the longest-running creative team in Marvel history.
Bendis and Bagley have also collaborated on Avengers Assemble and
the creator-owned Brilliant. His subsequent credits include
Fantastic Four, Cataclysm- The Ultimates' Last Stand, Hulk, All-New
X-Men and Venom.
