About the Author

Christen Conrad started her journey of writing children's picture books in 2020, with her first book, Zester the Zebra and his Missing Stripes, being published. Zester the Zebra and his Missing Stripes is book one in her Forever Zoo Friends Series. The series depicts different animals who become friends who help each other out. Making friends and overcoming challenges is a huge focus in Christen's stories. Her second book in her Forever Zoo Friends Series is, The Lion and the Cricket Play Hide and Seek. In addition to Forever Zoo Friends, Christen also has started Forever Farm Friends Series. Her books are written in rhyme to help make reading, and learning to read, fun for kids. Christen's stories also teaches kids to admire themselves through their strengths and differences, and to admire strengths and differences in others, believe in themselves, and never give up on hope.
