Larry Mullet is your typical fourth grader. He rides his bike, takes the school bus, avoids the cafeteria food, and - oh yeah - he's a zombie hunting expert. Larry was just hanging out when Alex Bates from Ms Hoag's class tried to eat him. Something odd was going on at school...and it was up to Larry and his friends to take charge (for some reason). Hilariously told interview-style as a record of the REAL story, and peppered with zombie tips and facts, zombie cheerleaders and plenty of gore, this book will be a surefire hit for anyone interested in a ghoulishly good life-or-death comedy.

About the Author

When people ask what Howard does for a living, he says he's a writer and professional model-maker. His one-man company is called "Brushes with Danger." If pressed, he admits that he design games and is a partner in an outfit called 'Pulp Action Library.' Howard has written such middle grade classics as Bogbrush the Barbarian and the Mad Misadventures series. He lives in upstate New York with his wife, Lori, and some cats. He does all his own stunts.

Reviews

PRAISE FOR Zombie Elementary "[A] fast-paced tale that will draw in reluctant readers. A solid purchase for rabid zombie fans and a good pick for collections lacking in the funny horror genre." --School Library Journal "Zombie catchers: take notes. This book is packed with zombie tips, including what to expect during a zombie outbreak (answer: denial, then 'sheer, babbling terror') and who makes the best zombie catchers (answer: bossy people). Follow fifth grader Larry Mullet as he investigates the odd happenings at Brooks Elementary in what may be the creepiest case file you'll ever read." --TIME for Kids "Hilariously told interview-style as a record of the real story, readers will learn a lot about zombies... This book is splattered with life-or-death comedy." --City Parent PRAISE FOR Zombie Elementary -[A] fast-paced tale that will draw in reluctant readers.
