Jurassic Park: The Game is set on Isla Nublar – the site of the original Jurassic Park – and takes players right back to the events of the first Stephen Spielberg-directed, 1993 movie.
As an interactive adventure, the game enables players to experience locations, characters and – of course – the prehistoric creatures that made the first film such a worldwide phenomenon. It also brings new areas such as the Marine Facility to explore and new beasts to survive. All of this is wrapped in fast-paced action, exploration and puzzle-solving.
The action begins after the failure of the island's security systems, leaving the various savage creatures to roam freely around Jurassic Park. The player must track down the the Barbasol can containing priceless dinosaur embryos stolen and lost by the apparently loyal Dennis Nedry. Not only must they locate the can, fight Raptors and the mighty Tyrannosaurus Rex (to name but two of the creatures), the gamer must also defeat the secretive and highly dangerous mystery corporation that wants to get its hands on prized embryos.
