Really an incredibly fun film. It is a sci fi that laughs at being sci fi - the characters are both unbelievable and real at the same time, as if they took people and just upped the ante on them. A really fun flick that doesn't try to be all that serious, and does a good job at what it does. I really, really, really enjoy this movie every time I see it.

I think that this is a good movie for at a arty. It catches everyones attention and makes everyone pay attention to the movie.
It is good as the plot does not drag on for to long. The film may be long but it does not at all seem that long. The characters are very well cast. This movie has good effects to go with it.

Most sci-fi films try to break new ground with special effects and visual eye candy, but The Fifth Element created a whole new concept in the genre: the art-action science fiction.

While this film has many flaws, particularly in the flow of the plot, visually, it surpasses most sci-fi films I have ever seen. Not even Planet of the Apes (2001) could compete with this film's cinematography. I firmly believe 1997 was a great year for this concept of film, considering the highly visual Alien Resurrection came out the same year. Hopefully, some of the more modern sci-fi films will encompass some of the visual ideals this film set forth.

When I first watched Fifth Element I had never seen or heard anything about this film. After the first 5 minutes I knew I was in for a visual feast. It is one of the most under rated film of the 21st century. The caracters are rich a full of life and you will absoloutely the opera scene.

Fifth Element is one of those rare, original films. A Luc Besson production at its best. A wonderful story about saving the world, good versus evil, faith over power all with great special effects and comedy. A great performance by Chris Tucker, Bruce at his best and Milla, perfect as always!

I just cant express this movie in words. Its just so awesome!!! The story line is so magical, the effects are surreal and well blended, and the music is in perfect harmony with the scenes. LOVED THE OPERA SCENE! BEST MUSIC SCENE EVER! You just have to watch it!! Dont think twice..

The Fifth Element, a great classic movie, ive seen it countless times, its still funny and never looses its action pact affect either. Yes there are a few nude shots with Milla Jovovich’s chest exposed, but for a PG movie it’s GREAT it’s got every element in it, action, romance etc. perfect for the whole family.
Quin on
What I really love about this movie is the detail. costumes, sets, props, colours cinematography and then the great acting by all. A film you can really enjoy every moment and watch over and over. Certainly and modern classic.

Sci-Fi fan or not, any action fan will love this movie! Bruce Willis gives an amazing performance as always blowing things up in the biggest breath-taking way possible! No dvd collection is complete without this movie... Chris Tucker fills the comedy element as an extremely girly famous personality. The Fifth Element is a must see for any action fan.
