"Lord of War" is the better of the two films here. It is a very pungent satire on the arms industry, and makes numerous hard hitting points about it along the way. Cage is excellent (i.e. restrained and credible), but don't watch this film if you want to be cheered up. Not happy at all. 4 stars. "Man on Fire" is average, with a good Denzel Washington performance and lots of hyper kinetic film making and editing to try and make you think you're watching a good exciting movie. But you're not really. 3 stars.
