1991, SEMI FINAL: BEARS 28-16 SEA EAGLES: Having not tasted victory in the semi-finals since 1952 the Bears met their biggest rival the Sea Eagles and blew them off the park, running in four tries and Daryl Halligan kicking six goals to book their place in the next round.
1994, SEMI FINAL: BEARS 15-14 BRONCOS: It was a brilliant performance from Greg Florimo that gave the Bears the early lead, the Broncos managed to draw level late in the second half and with minutes remaining on the clock Jason Taylor stepped up to the mark to slot a clutch field goal, sealing a memorable victory.
1997, ROUND 14: BEARS 41-8 SEA EAGLES: The Bears/Sea Eagles rivalry is one of the most heated in the NRL, so when they met at North Sydney Oval no one could have expected a drubbing was in the making, running in seven tries to two the Bears recorded their biggest ever win over the Sea Eagles.
1997, SEMI FINAL: BEARS 24 -14 EELS: After a torrid season the Bears head into September for what will prove to be the last time. Facing an old rival, the Bears show their class, scoring four tries to three and Jason Taylor maintaining a clean kicking sheet.
1999, ROUND 26: BEARS 28-18 COWBOYS: In a fairy-tale finish to the Bears' history, after almost 91 years in the competition they would face the Cowboys in the last round of the competition, scoring five tries to three the Bears ensured their last game in the top grade would be a memorable one.
