Product Details

IN THE JUNGLE, THE ONE WHO SURVIVES IS THE ONE WHO MOVES.In the tiny village of El Idilio, deep in the Amazonian jungle, lives Antonio Bolivar (Richard Dreyfuss). A recluse, Antonio has discovered a passion for romantic tales which he shares with a local servant girl, Josefina (Cathy Tyson). The visiting Dentist (Hugo Weaving), a swaggering lothario with questionable medical skills, becomes Antonio's go-between.But outsiders have intruded into this remote corner of the world, killing a jaguar's cubs. Now the enraged mother jaguar begins killing humans. El Idilio's Mayor (Timothy Spall) known as "the Slimy Toad", organizes a hunting party. Too old for this ludicrous expedition, Antonio knows that only he has the skills to carry out the mission. And so begins a trek, an adventure, a dangerous duel...

This is a Region 4 disc, the local region for Australia.
