Rafe Spall plays struggling sports journalist, Pete. Although well meaning, Pete sometimes lacks the emotional maturity required to deal with life's more intricate problems. He often wishes that life had clearly defined rules, like sport.
But life isn't like sport, as Pete is only beginning to find out Pete's life is commented on, as if it was an exciting sporting event, by two professional sport commentators, anchor man Colin King, and former international footballer Terry MclIroy. Colin and Terry discuss and analyse Pete's cock ups with accompanying statistics, on screen graphics and slow motion recaps.
Series 2 sees Pete fall on hard times and has to get a job debeaking chickens. Pete also has a new flatmate called Manfred from Zimbabwe. Manfred is slightly different, a bit softer and Pete has more love for him.
This is a Region 4 disc, the local region for Australia.
