Fletch sentenced to a five year stretch at HM Prison Slade in darkest Cumbria, is determined to keep his head down, do his time and not let the bs grind him down. But it's not so simple when you're an old lag. His naive cell-mate Lenny Godber needs to learn the ropes, skives and scams, evil Prison Office Mr Mackay can't be allowed to run things his own way and warden Mr Barrowclough is just too weak-willed not to have his good-nature exploited.
This is a Region 4 disc, the local region for Australia.
I loved Porridge way back when & I saw it here on Australian TV. But it does add an extra dimension if you were born in the UK. As far as funny goes, Ronnie Barker is up there with the greats. The episodes are short & that's a good feature.

This series never dates...it's as funny now as it was way back when. A+++
