In the tradition of Raiders of the Lost Ark, Rocketeer is a full-throttle blast of thrills, fun and dazzling special effects.

Set in glamorous 1930s Hollywood, it tells the story of Cliff Secord, a down-on-his-luck pilot who stumbles upon an incredible invention - a top secret jetpack that allows him to soar through the skies like a human rocket. But before long, a sinister spy (Timothy Dalton) plots to steal the jetpack, thrusting Cliff into a dangerous mission that ultimately transforms him into an extraordinary hero.

Praised by critics as a most entertaining film, Rocketeer is high-flying action-adventure at its very finest.

"The Rocketeer" was based on Dave Stevens' comic series that appeared from 1982 thru to 1995 with Pacific Comics and Darj Horse Comics. It was clearly a homage to the serials of the 1930s and 1940s - the film carries this feel on, with mobsters and Nazis, and an Errol Flynn like baddie (played by Timothy Dalton). Made by Walt Disney, it's an OK, fun kind of film...
