David Kraatz on
I really enjoyed this series. It is a fascinating period of history - I would really like to see a prequel if ever they made one. One that perhaps focussed on Warwick the Kingmaker and the rise of the house of York. The sets are really well done in terms of costumes and architecture. My only disappointment was the treatment of battles - they are either skipped and reported later or - in the case of Bosworth - inaccurately portrayed (a melee in a wood. I don't think it would have been too hard as there are lots of reinactors that could have been used. Fr. example, Bosworth is "refought" every year by a group of enthusiasts who use accurate costumes, weapons and armour, etc. Regardless, I still enjoyed the series very much. Well done.
