This 11 song collection of tunes from the 1980's California-based electronic band Tuxedomoon features the songs "Victims of the Dance," "Again," and "New Machine."
San Francisco's Tuxedomoon pioneered a synthesizer sound that was more punk-cabaret than electronica, steeped in a neurotic twitchiness that years later seems like a sign of the times. Spacey guitar noodles, rubbery bass lines, choppily percussive synth-chords, and willfully tinny drum-machine beats all abound on this 1981 release. (The 2006 reissue also contains the 1978 EP NO TEARS.)
