I bought this recently after not having heard it for many years and was surprised to find I really enjoyed listening to it again, and was also reminded of how much I used to like it. After Led Zeppelin the music on here sounds very clean and new and whilst there is the occasional nod to his old band, Plant has managed to create a new sound for himself. Best songs are the punchy opener, Burning Down One Side, the Zep-like Slow Dancer and the ballads, Moonlight In Samosa and Like I've Never Been Gone. This remastered version also contains a nice live version of Like I've Never Been Gone as well as a catchy little number called Far Post. A good solo debut and possibly my favourite of all his solo albums.
