Performer Notes

Just the band's third studio album in the last 16 years, Soulsville finds Lewis and the News paying tribute to the classic Stax Records/Memphis soul sound. Recorded at the legendary Ardent Studios, the album marks the first studio release from the group without tenor saxophonist Ron Stallings, who passed in 2009, and guitarist Chris Hayes, who left the band after 2001's Plan B.
