  • Welsh alt-rock band Lostprophets release their fifth studio record Weapons, which marks their first effort with third drummer Luke Johnson, following Ilan Rubin's departure. The album was recorded at NRG Studios in California with producer Ken Andrews (Blink-182, Jimmy Eat World, Tenacious D), who reignites the group's heavier style from their album Start Something with roaring guitars and distorted bass sounds. The first single from the album, "Bring 'Em Down", is a testament to the renewed energy and aggression prominent throughout Weapons.
