This 777-piece 3-D Grandfather Clock puzzle is more than just a marvellously challenging exercise in puzzle building--it actually tells time! This remarkably true-to-life puzzle was inspired by grandfather clocks crafted in 1770s London: the round clock face, in which a smaller face shows lunar phases and tide tables, is surrounded by a square of faux gold leaves, and is topped by an arch in which the moon and, you imagine, a sun are pictured. (In a real grandfather clock, this mechanism would rotate so that you would see sun and moon at different times of day.) The clock's long body depicts an idyllic scene from Jan Steen's oil painting Skittle Players at the Inn, which is housed at the National Gallery in London. The large puzzle pieces are made of sturdy, non-toxic foam, and the clock stands just under 0.9m tall (34.75 x 24cm x 11cm ) when assembled. The quartz clock mechanism requires one AA battery for operation.Includes 777 foam pieces and real working clock Measures 24cm wide, 11cm deep, and 90cm high when assembled Includes assembly tips in English and French 1 AA battery required Supply is limited --
