Present in the North Atlantic, the Atlantic puffin or "sea Parrot" is a species of marine bird. It is easily recognisable for its multi-coloured beak with bright colours. Its proud upright posture and its red nose have earned it the nickname of the "sea clown". the puffin spends most of its time on the high sea and ventures on land during mating period when it nests in burrows dug into grassy slopes. It mainly eats small fish, mollusks and crustaceans.
