About the Author

Gary Blake is the author of more than a dozen books. His first book, The Status Book (Doubleday, 1978), anticipated the status-conscious 1980s. His latest humor book, The I-Hate-Kathie-Lee-Gifford Book (Kensington) foresaw the Kathie Lee sweatshop and Giffordgate scandals. Blake is director of The Communication Workshop, a company that presents writing as well as humor-in-the-workplace workshops at Fortune 500 companies. Also, Dr. Blake is the co-author of The Elements of Business Writing, now in its 18th printing, with more than 100,000 copies in print.
