I was initially upset that Richelle Mead was finishing up the Vampire Academy series and was unsure on how this new series would turn out. However, this book was an amazing read, especially for those VA fans out there. I can't wait for the next book in the series to come out.
If you're anything like me, I would suggest working through the book slowly so that you can go straight to the next book, otherwise you're going to spend months on end wishing you could read more. It's thoroughly addictive :)

This book is just AMAZING!
Having read all the Vampire Academy novels, I felt right at home with the familiar characters and the references to the series and of course the environment and character behaviour. I love Adrian; always have, always will. It was great to have found out exactly how he felt about his heartbreak.
Both the new and familiar characters were very entertaining. A must read if you've read Vampire Academy
I can't wait for the Golden Lily

When alchemist Sydney is ordered into hiding to protect the life of Moroi princess Jill Dragomir, the last place she expects to be sent is a human private school in Palm Springs, California. But at their new school, the drama is only just beginning.
Populated with new faces as well as familiar ones, Bloodlines explores all the friendship, romance, battles and betrayals that made the #1 New York Times bestselling Vampire Academy series so addictive--this time in a part-vampire, part-human setting where the stakes are even higher and everyone's out for blood.
