I loved this book.
Emma Donoghue really made you feel like you were seeing the world through the eyes of a five year old boy.
In the begining of the book you know nothing, because Jake knows nothing. As he starts to hear more and more things, even though he can't understand everything that he is hearing, we as adults can start to put all the pieces together.
Cleverly written.
I would recomend this to anyone.
I loved this book! It is very thought provoking and sddresses an interesting topic through the eyes of a 5 year old. I have recommended this book to friends. My husband read this in record time :)
Having been written in the point of view of a 5 year old it was quite hard to comprehend until you got further into the book. The book is amazing..it makes you cry, and laugh. It's one of those books you just can't put down..a great read that does its job.
The Room is a difficult book to read, it really tugs at the heartstrings, definitely not a light read but very good. It took some getting used to the way it was written, but flowed well and was enjoyable in a sad way!
