Loved this. This is the second Indian one and it classic Sharpe all the way through with a surprising re-appearance of one of his old enemies. I have loved the entire series and this is a great addition to it.
There's is no other actor that could play Sharpe better than Sean Bean. This is the one role that was made for him, and one of the few roles where he doesn't play the bad guy. This is not the best of the Sharpe adaptions of Bernard Cornwall's novels, but it doesn't disappoint. Patrick Harper is still just as Irish and compliments Sharpe almost perfectly. The action scenes have gotten better and the ability to spot random actors from the UK in low key cameo parts makes the film fun. Like each episode of Sharpe, it's action packed and there's always more to the plot than you initially think. Well worth a watch for all Sharpe fans.
sharpes peril was in my opinion a good movie that I thought was well written with a well thought out story line and a believable plot. The level of acting in this movie was of a good standard with all lines delivered in a well timed manner and it was this and the story lines as well as the interesting characters which made this movie enjoyable to watch.
If you enjoy a well made movie I think you will enjoy this movie and as such is recommended by me.
