Bruce Chilton is Bernard Iddings Bell Professor of Religion at
Bard College, New York. He has taught and written extensively on
early Christianity and Judaism and the historical Jesus.,
Jacob Neusner has published more than 550 books and is an expert on
the history of Judaism. He is Distinguished Research Professor of
Religious Studies at the University of South Florida and Visiting
Professor of Religion at Bard College. He is also a member of the
Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton, and a life member of Clare
Hall, Cambridge.
