Rosenstone is Professor of Political Science at the University of Michigan and a Program Director at the Institute for Social Research, where he serves as the Principal Investigator for the National Election Studies. He is author of Mobilization, Participation, and Democracy in America (with J. M. Hansen), Forecasting Presidential Elections, and Who Votes? (with R. Wolfinger). Roy L. Behr is a political consultant with Greer, Margolis, Mitchell, Burns and Associates in Santa Monica, California. Edward H. Lazarus is a political consultant in Washington, D.C.
