Rev. Dr. Judith Marie Gentle is an Anglican Catholic and noted Marian theologian. Dr. Robert L. Fastiggi is a Roman Catholic and distinguished professor of theology at Sacred Heart Seminary.
Excerpted from the Foreword: About Mary, one can never say enough!
How appropriate that the title of this book expresses the Latin
axiom common to early Church scholars. Indeed, when we contemplate
the words of the Archangel Gabriel to Mary, there are not enough
books in the world that can explain the mystery of God's Divine
Revelation.?this resource will help believers and even
non-believers further realize not only Mary's role in Divine
Revelation but how she continues to mediate and intercede in our
world and Church. About Mary, one can never say enough! How
true.
*The Most Rev. David A. Zubik, D.D., Bishop of Pittsburgh*
This scholarly, but reader-friendly collection of essays by
Catholic and non-Catholic experts…is an excellent integration of
challenging apologetics and sound ecumenical outreach. There is no
better way to evangelize zealously and at the same time be
ecumenically sensitive than to put no limits on the praise and love
we shower on the Mother of God. De Maria numquam satis. The reason
we can never give Mary too much honor is simply that we can never
match the honor Christ first bestowed on her in becoming in the
most literal sense her Child. If we wish to honor Christ
authentically and above all else, then we must first do what He
did: become her children, and then do what the beloved disciple did
when Christ from the Cross told him to behold his Mother: take her
into our hearts and homes. When we do this as beloved disciples, we
will together find our Savior and salvation and in knowing Mary as
she really is come quickly to realize that full union that has so
long eluded us.
