Kathleen Hall Jamieson is the director of the Annenberg Public
Policy Center at the University of Pennsylvania. She has written
more than a dozen books, including Dirty Politics- Deception,
Distraction, and Democracy and Everything You Think You Know About
Politics . . . and Why You're Wrong. Jamieson lives in
Philadelphia.
