She served on the Planning Committee for Little Rock Central High Museum. A professor of history at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, C. Fred Williams has published several books on Arkansas, including Arkansas: An Illustrated History of the Land of Opportunity. His articles and reviews have appeared in such journals as Agricultural History, the Arkansas Historical Quarterly, and the Journal of Southern History.
