His first book, Richie Ginther: Motor Racing's Free Thinker, was published to universal praise in 2020, with many reviewers highlighting his meticulous research and engaging narrative. Remarkably for a debut author, this book won the Royal Automobile Club Motoring Book of the Year Award. Following his second biography, Mike Spence: Out of the Shadows, he has turned his attention to the history of a team rather than a man. He lives in Hertfordshire with his wife and three children.
