Martin Peilstocker is a faculty member at the Johannes Gutenberg Universitat and director of the archaeological excavations of the Israel Antiquities Authority in Jaffa. Aaron A. Burke is associate professor of Near Eastern archaeology at the University of California, Los Angeles.
