Mathias Muller has competed in seven Ironman races, and finished the Ironman-Hawaii (1997, 1998, 2005) three times. His best performance was to finish in 99th overall in 9:28 hours in Roth, Germany, in 1998. He has been writing for several German magazines and newspapers over the last 15 years.
