Laura Hill is founder and owner of Stauntonvale Gundogs. She has been a regular member of the England Gundog team, competing in retriever field trials and working tests. She is a field trial panel judge and has judged and trained in the UK and Europe. Laura has qualified for the IGL Retriever Championship numerous times since 2009 and, to date, has made up six Field Trial Champions (four of which are home-bred).
As the title suggests, this book is not for beginners; it is
written and aimed at people with a good working knowledge of 'the
basics' of gundog training. Laura Hill goes a lot further into
detail than I have come across with other gundog training books.
This is the perfect book for anyone who wants to enhance their
retriever training.
