One of Australia’s most experienced travel writers, and two-time winner of the prestigious Australian Society of Travel Writers Best Adventure Story Award, Lee Atkinson has been writing about her adventures on and off the road for Australian newspapers, magazines and travel guides since 1991. A self-confessed road trip junky who loves getting away from the crowds in some of Australia’s most wild and remote places, there is not much of Australia that she hasn’t seen or many national parks she hasn’t explored.
