Patrick Woodroffe was born in Halifax on 27 October 1940. As a boy Patrick wanted to be a poet, and he fastidiously recorded verses and dreams in a series of diaries, working jointly with text and images. His exhibitions and books have built him a strong following and have always proved popular.
