About the Author

Ross Oar has many years of woodcarving experience. He not only instructs and attends woodworking shows but also carves commissioned pieces ranging in size from three inches to five and a half feet high and depicting all aspects of life. His other skills include leatherwork, engraving, forging, bead work, scrimshaw art and metal-casting and he is also the inventor of the Oar Sharpener and other patents.

Ross has authored a small book made up of 79 pages but it is filled with just what the carver wants - projects, projects and more projects with lessons for each.
