Annette Panhorst wurde 1944 in Bielefeld geboren und lebt jetzt in Enger. Die gelernte Industriekauffrau arbeitete zuletzt viele Jahre als Sekretärin. Sie hat sich schon immer für die Geschichte der näheren Heimat interessiert und viele Publikationen über die Zeit der Varus-Schlacht gelesen. Da Sie der Meinung war, dass die bisherigen Sichtweisen der Varus-Schlacht so nicht schlüssig sind, hat sie 2008 das Buch "Leichenfledderei im Teutoburger Wald" herausgebracht. Das Thema hat sie die letzten Jahre nicht losgelassen. Annette Panhorst hat nun ein detailliertes neues Buch über den Zeitraum von Drusus bis Germanicus geschrieben.
