About the Author

As a teacher and elementary school assistant principal, Nicole Hoye supports educators to build, maintain and sometimes even re-gain their flair for teaching. Through her years of experience and a Master's Degree in Education, she has learned that positive relationships between students, parents and school staff can have a powerful and lasting influence on young lives. Miss Claire was inspired by Nicole's personal journey as a teacher. Nicole lives in Calgary, Alberta with her husband and their two children. Her time away from school is spent pacing hockey arena's as a goalie Mom, spectating from the stands at a lacrosse game or cheerleading event, running, boating and finding joy in the most unexpected of moments.
